A Safety by Co-Design Jam with Youth and the COR Sandbox

in partnership with

1er AVRIL 2026
FORUM INCYBER @ LILLE GRAND PALAIS

Come jam with us!

We are creating an opportunity for trust & safety stakeholders to experience and unlock the value of youth participation for delivering safety by design. Collectively, across sectors and generations, we are building a response – with you!

PARTICIPATE

In these insight- and innovation-rich sessions, representatives of different sectors and jurisdictions will come together for a full day of collaborative, outcome-focused work. Together, we will explore the challenges of delivering “safety by design,” gain clarity around our own blind spots, and discover practical, forward-looking solutions.
To ensure every conversation is grounded in real-world relevance, members of COR’s youth teams from Greece, Ireland and France will join us as equal partners, enriching the sessions with insights from their diverse experiences, shaping expectations, and helping co-create solutions that genuinely support and empower them.

You should participate if you are :

  • Representatives from all sectors and jurisdictions involved in online safety.
  • Members of COR’s youth teams from Greece, Ireland, and France as active partners.
PROGRAMME

Cross-sector presentations, discussion of divergences, and reflection on structural gaps.

14:00 – 15:30 : Co-Lab

About

The Children’s Online Redress (COR) Sandbox and the Trust & Safety Forum are partnering to host a one-day design jam that puts safety by design into action with one audience in mind: Generations Z and Alpha.

The COR Sandbox’s current work, “Sandboxing and Standardizing Child Online Redress,” is funded by Safe Online, a global grant-making initiative dedicated to protecting children online. Grant recipients include some of the most impactful organizations in the field of child online wellbeing including, among others, THORN, NCMEC, WHO, UNICEF, ECPAT, and INTERPOL.

Join the second day (April 1st, 2026) of the Trust & Safety Forum in Lille, France, for a full-day guided design jam where you will have the opportunity to experience how a regulatory sandbox works: learning and working collaboratively with fellow stakeholders toward the shared goal of improving online safety.

Partner with us and be part of the COR journey

The COR Sandbox is on a “proof-of-concept” journey to develop a Blueprint for future online
safety sandboxes that center on children’s rights. With the aim to create a co-design
environment that works for all stakeholders, we are creating opportunities internationally for you to contribute your insights and be part of the Blueprint co-design!
Under Chatham House Rule, industry representatives and regulators will have the opportunity to engage safely and access knowledge that is otherwise hard to reach. Additionally, both sides will benefit equally from the participation of youth and their authentic input. The COR Sandbox approach to youth participation differs vastly from the “in-house youth councils” companies and regulators work with. With evidence-based methodology, the COR Sandbox team mentors empower youth to participate equitably and impactfully in design environments traditionally reserved and designed by and for adult experts.
